Facade profiles is an integral part of the facade system. It is manufactured of galvanized steel with a thickness of 1.2 mm to 1.5 mm. The metalworking equipment used at Alternativa factory makes it possible to manufacture facade elements of substructures according to strictly defined dimensions.
When installing the Alt-Fasad facade systems, it is customary to use L-shaped, U-shaped, C-shaped and T-shaped profiles.
The C-shaped and T-shaped profiles for facade systems is the basis of the vertical railing structure.
These facade profiles, used in suspended ventilated facade systems, allow using metal cassettes, profiled sheets, composite aluminum cassettes, ceramic granite tiles, fiber cement tiles, and asbestos-cement tiles as cladding material.
The T-shaped profile used in the Alt-Fasad systems is made of steel sheet rolled with cold-rolled zinc and additional polymer coating.
In case of a simplified vertical version, this profile is mounted directly to the bracket, using corrosion-resistant self-tapping screws or pop-rivets.
If a vertical-horizontal system is installed, the U-shaped profile creates the basis for a vertical guide rail in the construction of a suspended facade.
If this fastening scheme is applied for the intermediate floors, this profile is mounted using self-tapping screws or pop-rivets to the LO-2r horizontal guide rail, which is attached to the bracket extension. This method allows length regulation of the extension and its shifting along the bracket console, in order to compensate for the irregularity of the enclosing structures.
When installed with spacing according to the cladding tile width, a vertical joint can be placed between the panels in the center of the vertical profile.
